A conventional upscaler sees one frame at a time. If detail is missing from that frame, it can only smooth, sharpen or guess.
LookSee's upscaler looks at many frames together. As objects and the camera move, each frame captures slightly different information. LookSee tracks that motion, aligns those samples and combines them — recovering detail that no single frame contains on its own.
A neural model trained on tens of thousands of film frames then decides which reconstructed detail can be trusted and where the image needs to be rebuilt cleanly.
The result is a picture that is genuinely sharper while remaining faithful to the source, without the halos and plastic look of conventional sharpening, nor the fabricated textures and outlines typical of generative offline upscalers — continuously, in real time, entirely on your Mac.
